Refund & Returns Policy

 

Our refund and returns policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds may be granted, including:

  • Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error

  • Any item returned more than 14 days after delivery

This policy applies to both UK and international orders. Please note that additional conditions apply to orders delivered outside the United Kingdom due to cross-border shipping, customs regulations, and alcohol import laws.

 

If you change your mind about your purchase, this is absolutely fine. You will be eligible for a full refund provided the item is returned in sellable condition, meaning it is unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.

Returns must be initiated within 14 days of receiving your order. If your order has not yet been dispatched, you may cancel it directly via the website.

This policy excludes coils, opened bottles of e-liquids, and personalised items unless they are reported as faulty.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

For international orders, we are unable to accept cancellations or returns due to a change of mind once the order has been dispatched. This is due to international alcohol shipping restrictions and customs regulations.

 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email that we have received your returned item. We will also confirm whether your refund has been approved or rejected.

If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will be automatically applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund:

  • Please first check your bank account again

  • Then contact your credit card provider, as processing times may vary

  • Next, contact your bank, as additional processing time may be required

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items are non-refundable.

For international orders, refunds are only available where an item is faulty, damaged in transit, or incorrect. Approved refunds apply to the affected item only and do not include original shipping costs, customs duties, or local taxes unless required by law.

Photographic evidence may be required before a refund is approved.

Exchanges are not available for international orders. Where a replacement is approved for a faulty or damaged international order, this will be treated as a replacement shipment rather than an exchange and is subject to stock availability.

 

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return once the item is received.

If the item was not marked as a gift, or the order was shipped to the gift giver first, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.

If an international order marked as a gift is refused, returned, or seized due to customs restrictions or unpaid duties, we are unable to offer a refund.

You are responsible for paying your own return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If a refund is issued, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refund.

Delivery times for exchanged or replacement items may vary depending on location. For higher value items, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.

International orders are not eligible for return once dispatched, except in cases of damage, fault, or incorrect items.

Any customs duties, import taxes, or local charges applied by the destination country are the responsibility of the recipient. If an order is delayed, refused, returned, or seized by customs authorities, no refund will be issued.

Where an international order is returned to us due to failed delivery or customs issues, a partial refund for the product value only may be offered once the goods are safely returned and inspected. Original shipping and return costs will be deducted.


Damaged or Defective Goods

At TakeADrink.com, our courier partners carefully re-pack items during transit. However, in rare cases, goods may arrive damaged.

If your order arrives damaged, such as a broken bottle or leakage, you may refuse delivery and not sign for the package.

If you have accepted and opened the delivery, you must report the issue within 24 hours of delivery, based on parcel tracking information. Clear photographic evidence of the outer packaging, inner packaging, and damaged item(s) must be provided.

Depending on the severity of the damage, we may issue a partial or full refund or arrange for the damaged item(s) to be collected and replaced.
