The Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve is a vibrant and contemporary Speyside single malt finished in Caribbean rum barrels. This innovative maturation adds a tropical twist to The Glenlivet’s signature smooth and fruity style, introducing notes of ripe banana, toffee, and subtle sweetness. Nose: Bright and aromatic with tropical fruit notes of banana and pineapple, soft vanilla, honeyed sweetness, and a hint of citrus.

The Glenlivet Distillery was founded in 1824 by George Smith in the remote Livet Valley of Speyside. It was one of the first legal distilleries in the region, setting a benchmark for quality and helping establish Speyside as a centre of Scotch whisky production.
George Smith’s smooth, fruit driven style quickly gained recognition, even earning the support of King George IV. As demand grew, the name “The Glenlivet” became synonymous with premium single malt, leading other distillers to imitate the style. To protect its reputation, the distillery secured exclusive rights to the name, reinforcing its status as the original Glenlivet.
Today, The Glenlivet remains one of the world’s most respected single malt Scotch whiskies. Known for innovation alongside tradition, it continues to explore new cask finishes while preserving the elegant, approachable character that has defined the brand for nearly two centuries.
