OUR ROOTS
We’re family-owned and fiercely proud of our roots. We’re Norfolk-born, Norfolk-based, and Norfolk-centred. We may not be the biggest or loudest, but we are the originals (and we believe we’re the best.)
You'll find our whisky on the shelves of shops we admire and that share our values. We pour a little bit of our soul into every single bottle we make, so we’re not going to send it off just anywhere.
NEED TO KNOW
We’ve got whisky maturing in our warehouses to last 40 years. Our family’s legacy in farming goes back to 1335 and in whisky to 2007. This isn’t a short-term game; we’re in it for the really, really long haul.
OUR WHISKY
We don’t make good whisky. We make outstanding whisky. If a new bottle doesn’t blow our socks off, it’s not going on the shelves. James Nelstrop's original goal was to create the finest single-malt whisky in England, which remains the benchmark for every bottle we produce.
We make our whisky the old-fashioned way, with traditional equipment, artisan skills and a lot of patience. One of the most important ingredients in a bottle of whisky is time, and we’re not rushing.
