Matured in a combination of refill and toasted American oak casks, this single malt delivers a slightly sweeter and more approachable expression of Talisker’s signature coastal style. Smoky, spicy, and fresh with sea-salt character, it captures the wild essence of Skye in a balanced and highly drinkable whisky.
Nose: Bright coastal freshness with citrus zest, maritime salt, and gentle peat smoke. Subtle vanilla and orchard fruit sit beneath warming spice.
Palate: Smooth and sweet to start with caramel, ripe citrus, and light oak. Classic Talisker pepper builds gradually alongside soft smoke and sea spray notes.
Finish: Lingering pepper heat and smouldering peat with a clean maritime dryness.

Talisker is one of Scotland’s most storied island distilleries. It was founded in 1830 on the rugged shores of the Isle of Skye by brothers Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill, who chose the remote coastline of Loch Harport for its access to pure water, sea air, and ideal conditions for peat-influenced whisky making.
Despite fires, rebuilds, and ownership changes over the years, Talisker has remained true to its coastal identity. Its distinctive character is defined by a lightly peated malt, copper pot stills with U-shaped swan necks, and maturation by the sea, which imparts maritime salinity and peppery spice that has become its signature style.
Today, Talisker is recognised worldwide as the whisky that embodies the raw spirit and elemental power of Skye.
