Monkey Shoulder Blended Malt Scotch Whisky

Monkey Shoulder was born from a simple idea: create a modern Scotch whisky that breaks away from tradition and invites people to enjoy whisky in a more playful, approachable way. Produced in Dufftown, the heart of Speyside, the blend is crafted from three iconic Speyside single malts, each chosen for their smooth, fruity and malty character.

The name “Monkey Shoulder” comes from an old term used by maltmen who turned barley by hand during the malting process. After long shifts, their arm would sometimes hang down like a monkey’s shoulder. Today the name honours the dedication and craftsmanship of those whisky makers, while the spirit itself embraces a more contemporary attitude.

Launched by William Grant & Sons, Monkey Shoulder quickly became a favourite in bars around the world because of its versatility and smooth, creamy flavour. It was designed not just for sipping, but for mixing, making it a staple for cocktails like the Whisky Sour, Old Fashioned or even simple highballs.
