“Indigène” is the result of a vision, the reinterpretation of the Scottish single malt, the premier category in the world of whiskeys, in the style of Hautes Glaces. An exceptional whiskey anchored in a territory, nourished by its resources, sublimated by its constraints. “Indigenous” is the strength of the local, it is the genius of the place which is embodied, it is the sincerity of a whiskey which has the taste of the Alps and the makings of those who make it.

Nose: A hint of woodiness combines with notes of candied fruit, white peaches and slightly tart pears. A great freshness emerges, the clarity of a fragrance. Little by little, the typical almond of our Single Malt emerges, followed by sweet, pastry aromas.

Mouth: A comfortable entry makes us appreciate a distinguished and well-held bitterness. It supplely supports the first notes, cereal, before another setting is revealed: sensual, airy and floral, a field of cereals embracing the flowering of an orchard, discreetly saline scents. The palate continues on this line between earth and sky, a high-altitude orchard which little by little offers other promises, delicious and complex.

A sensation of fine sweetness, a smooth, almost creamy texture, fleshes out and stretches the finish on which aromatics are both exotic (lemon, chocolate) and mountainous… In the bottom of the empty glass dance the promises of harvest to come: the smell of spring, flowers and barley. The crazy desire to take flight and soar above our peaks again. Or when the native gives you wings.
