Freud Whisky Distiller’s Cut, produced by the Ziegler Distillery in Freudenberg, Germany, is their first whisky. This single malt whisky is matured for at least five years in a combination of chestnut casks and ex-bourbon barrels. Before bottling, it undergoes a finishing process in casks that previously held Ziegler Alte Zwetschge, a renowned fruit brandy. This unique aging process imparts complex flavors and aromas to the whisky.
